If you could be anywhere else in the world right now, where would you be?
There’s a concrete ledge in San Pedro that overlooks the Pacific ocean. I call it my couch and it’s my favorite place on planet Earth. I’m usually always within an hour drive of the couch, so it’s hard to resist a good chill there.

Worst trend right now.
Net Neutrality. A trending tweet today that could have some truly creepy and disastrous effects on all of us.

What’s a mistake you’re glad you made?
I fell deeply in love at a young age and then was swiftly pulled out of it. Consequently, I learned a lot about the world. I don’t think it was a mistake, everyone else might have, but I’m glad to have been there.

What does it mean to be happy?
I think happiness has a lot to do with being free of distractions.

Drink of choice?
Gin and apple juice. Mezcal Paloma is a close second. And how great is cold, clean water!?

What’s the last thing you made a note of in your phone?
I’ve been looking far and wide for an art book publisher or photography organization like Aperture to hire me, so I’ve been making job wish-lists on my phone.

Favorite accounts you follow?
 @thedonnymiller @t_lord @danielarnold @_chrxx @superchiefgalleryla @courtyard_la

Guilty pleasure?
The Fast and the Furious masterpieces. 10/10 will watch all 10 again.

First thing you notice about another person?
If they are anxious or not.

Name 3 things on your bucket list.
See lava in real life!!!!, own a doberman pinscher, make a living helping others.

What band are you obsessed with right now?
Swimm is the first band who has personally convinced me that relatable style or subject matter will extend far beyond your own medium. I back every creative decision they make.

What’s one lesson you had to learn the hard way?
Just because someone doesn’t love you the way that you want them to, it doesn’t mean that they don’t love you.

All time favorite movie?
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Or, No Country for Old Men. There’s got to be a lot of men and a lot of crime aka creative problem solving.

Best date you’ve ever been on?
Josh Manoles and I skated to a hotel in downtown Long Beach and snuck into the rooftop jacuzzi. After enjoying it for some time we were escorted out by security but snuck into two more that night, getting kicked out of all of them on our Hot Tub Tour. We carved our initials into a tree on Ocean Blvd.

How do you want to be remembered when you die?
By that time I hope to be a incredibly kind, notably talented, old lady with style through the roof.

What kind of music do you love?

How would you describe your style?
I’d like to think I’m a very hybrid person. I have always been country and city, film and digital, typing and writing, sweet and bitter, dazzle and grit.

What is the purpose of life?
To have yours, deeply, and let other living things have their life, too.

What do you do in life?
I look around at things all day that keep my childlike wonder alive and occasionally I write about this to share it with others.

What’s your dream job?
1) Photographer 2) Photo Editor 3) Art book Librarian

Where are you from? Where do you live? Where are you going?
I grew up in the forest on a chicken farm in Eastern Minnesota. I live in Los Angeles. I’m trying to head to West Coast Canada or Spain!

What do you want to be when you grow up?
The color photography version of Jill Freedman, with a pinch of Angelina Jolie.

Do you follow routines? If so, what are they? If not, why?
I think it’s incredibly challenging as a young freelancer to establish a routine. I spend my entire day keeping in touch, whether professionally or recreationally. I can confidently say that I have less of a routine than anyone I know. It’s been mostly very good to me and allowed me to see a lot of the West Coast and of myself.

Worst advice?
Years ago, I was prescribed Nuva Ring which threw me into a deep cycle of anxiety.. Don’t compromise your health for the doctor’s sale pitch without taking your own advice!
