It may be mid-week, but for some reason we're still feeling the Monday blues. We need something to kick-start our flow, and what better way to wake up than with a green smoothie to re-charge and reset our minds for the rest of the week? We need something sweet. With a side of healthy. Or better yet, healthy all around. Kale?…anyone?
We have been following our girl earthyandy in Hawaii and felt like her "Morning Start Smoothies" had been calling our names since Monday morning. Of last week. So we hit the store and grabbed some feel-good ingredients to perk us up.
Refreshing. Renewing. Delicious. We love this smoothie and think you will too. So if your week couldn't be dragging by any slower, start this day with some good old fashioned greens, and glow from the inside with this "Glow On" smoothie.—Katie Ring
Add all ingredients - blend and enjoy!
- 2 Dino kale leafs or one cup of baby spinach or kale
- 1 Cup frozen or fresh mangos
- 3 Frozen bananas
- 1 Cup coconut water or organic almond milk
- 1/2 Seeded cucumber
- 1/4 Cup of parsley or mint
- Handful of ice
