Sometimes the only thing better than a girl’s night out is a girl’s night in. Last Thursday night, we did just that. Except instead of drinking wine, watching movies, talking endlessly about nothing and dancing around in our pjs with our best friends, we went to Prism Boutique in Long Beach and mingled with some of the most inspirational, empowering female creators and go getters of our time. There still was wine though, of course.
The main event of the evening was a panel led by Dayna Mance, founder of Prism Boutique. Oh, and sidenote—Prism just expanded their space, like a LOT. So if you’re in the area, you better go check out all of the new additions and be ready to want to buy it all. Anyway, also on the panel was Kristen Pumphrey—who started PF Candle Co (You’ve seen these before inside Urban Outfitters. And you either own one, or have wanted to buy one.) and Kayti O’Connell Carr, who started one of our favorite brands around, Mate the Label. It was super inspiring to hear all of their stories. Hearing their inspirations, struggles, setbacks, triumphs, and successes truly lit a fire inside of us. These women are absolutely killing it, and we want to say kudos for taking the leap and being brave enough to venture into the unknown. It paves the way for other girls who dream to do the same.
Thanks Prism for having us! It was a lovely night.
